Nyungne Practice Retreat with Lama Tashi Thobgyal Rinpoche

  • Trinlay Khachöd Ling 154 Lost Clove Road Big Indian, NY, 12410 United States (map)

Nyungne is one of the most powerful purification practices within the Vajrayana which focuses on the development of Bodhichitta as its core.

It is one of the fastest ways to truly give rise to our Bodhichitta mind and helps us cut through so many of our root fears and clinging to habitual behaviors.

Nyungne is based on the Sadhana of the one thousand armed Chenrezig, recitation of his long mantra, combined with fasting over the period of several days.

Vajracharya Tashi Thobgyal Rinpoche, a lineage holder of the Barom Kagyud lineage, is well experienced in this practice and has been requested by Lama Rangbar Nyimai Özer to lead this group Nyungne practice for all of us.

This is not an easy practice because it challenges us with a format that breaks our deepest habits of self-clinging and transformation of the conditions into pure compassion.

This is a rare opportunity not to be missed.

In order to make this program happen, we will require the participation of a minimum of eight people.

If you wish to participate, please express interest by writing us at info@bodhivastu.org by Tuesday, April 23rd in order to receive further details about the fasting regime, schedule, and costs.

Please make sure to express your interest as soon as possible.
